Categories
Categories
Categories are used to group dances. A dance can associated with up to 4 categories. Categories can be used to filter the list of dances displayed in the dance selection window (see the Filtering section of the Selecting Dances topic for more information).

Viewing Categories
A window displaying all categories is opened by clicking on the Category Actions > Display Categories option under the File menu.
This will open the Categories window that lists all defined categories.
Editing A Category
You can edit a category by double clicking or by right clicking and choosing the Edit Category option.
Adding A New Category
A new category can be created by clicking on the Category Actions > Add New Category option under the File menu. This will open a window where you can enter the name of the category.
A new category can also be created from the Edit Dance window (which is also used to add a new dance). To add a new category click on the Category field in the dance editor window and type the new category name in the field. You will be prompted to add the category when saving changes if the category doesn’t already exist.

Removing A Category
Only categories not associated with any dances can be removed. To remove a category click on it in the Categories window and press the Delete key.
